Our water is warm all year around
Welcome to the heated water of our open air pools. Hampton Pool, known as "South West London's best kept secret" is situated next to Royal Bushy Park. Our main pool is 36 metres long and we also have a learner pool dedicated to children and their parents.
The Sunday Times described us as "one of Britain's coolest, biggest, hippest pools" .

Storm closure procedures
In the event of thunder storms we will have to ask you to leave the water immediately. An 'all clear' to re-enter the water will be given once there has been a 20 minute lapse between thunder rolls. Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds for lost swimming time.

During 'Lane Swim' sessions, the main pool is split into six to accommodate swimmers of different speeds and ability. For 'Recreational Swim' sessions, the main pool is split in half to allow for lane swimming on one side and family swimming and fun on the other (see above for times).

Exclusive Lane Swims are limited and must be booked in advance (while spaces are still available). Normal swim session times resume from 4 January 2021.
You no longer have to book a normal swim session in advance, but doing so will guarantee you a spot at busier times.

Sessions become available to book six days in advance, ususally at 08:00.
We're really sorry if you're having trouble getting on to our app to book a session. We're aware that there have been some issues and we're working on them. Please bear with us. In the meantime, if you are experiencing a problem, please send us a message here.
All swims sessions have a waiting list feature which you can join when the session is full. The waiting list works on a 'fastest finger first' basis, meaning all of the people on the waiting list will be sent a link to secure an available slot regardless of position on the list.

Weak and non-swimmers must stay in the shallow end with an adult and not go past the point marked on poolside. We highly recommend weak and non-swimmers wear approved buoyancy devices.
